Booking Policy for SPEENO Massage

This policy explains how bookings and appointments with SPEENO are managed. Our aim is to keep the booking process straightforward while ensuring appointments can be provided safely and fairly.

Sports massage appointments can be booked through the SPEENO online booking system.

Please provide accurate contact and booking information when making an appointment. You may also be asked to complete a pre-treatment questionnaire before your appointment.

If you are unsure whether sports massage is appropriate for you, please contact SPEENO before booking.

We understand that plans can change.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice where possible so that the appointment can be made available to somebody else.

SPEENO does not currently charge a standard cancellation fee.

If you need to make a last-minute change due to illness, an emergency or another unexpected circumstance, please get in touch as soon as possible.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let SPEENO know as soon as possible.

There is currently no standard no-show fee. However, repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may result in advance payment being required for future bookings or SPEENO declining future bookings.

If you are running late, please contact SPEENO where possible.

Late arrival may mean that your treatment needs to be shortened to avoid affecting other appointments or commitments.

Where possible, SPEENO will try to provide as much of the booked treatment time as reasonably available.

The current price of each service will be clearly displayed when booking or on the SPEENO website.

Payment should be made using one of the payment methods accepted by SPEENO. Where an appointment has not been paid for in advance, payment will be due at the appointment.

Any agreed changes to the price or appointment will be discussed with you.

SPEENO currently offers mobile sports massage appointments in and around Winchester.

For mobile appointments, clients are responsible for providing a safe, clean and suitable environment in which treatment can take place, with enough space for the required treatment equipment.

If the environment is considered unsafe or unsuitable for treatment, SPEENO reserves the right not to proceed with the appointment.

You should provide accurate and relevant information about your health when completing any pre-treatment questionnaire and when speaking with your therapist.

Please inform SPEENO of any relevant changes to your health, medication, injuries or symptoms before treatment.

Sports massage may not be appropriate in certain circumstances. Treatment may be adapted, postponed or declined where there is a concern about whether it can be provided safely or appropriately.

Where appropriate, you may be advised to seek assessment or advice from a suitably qualified healthcare professional.

Please contact SPEENO before attending or proceeding with an appointment if you are acutely unwell, have a fever, have a potentially contagious illness or otherwise believe treatment may not be appropriate.

Appointments can be rearranged where necessary.

Treatment will be explained where appropriate and your consent will be sought before treatment is provided.

You can ask questions, request a change in pressure or technique, or ask for treatment to stop at any time.

Your privacy, dignity and comfort will be respected throughout the appointment, including appropriate draping where required.

Your appointment will be tailored to your needs and preferences.

Techniques such as sports massage, cupping or instrument-assisted techniques may be offered where appropriate. These will not automatically be used during every appointment, and you can decline any particular technique.

Occasionally, SPEENO may need to cancel or rearrange an appointment due to illness, unforeseen circumstances or another reason that prevents the appointment from being provided safely or as planned.

Where possible, you will be contacted as soon as reasonably practicable and offered the opportunity to rearrange.

If SPEENO cancels an appointment that you have already paid for and an alternative appointment cannot be agreed, the amount paid for that appointment will be refunded.

SPEENO aims to provide a professional, respectful and safe environment.

Inappropriate, abusive, threatening or sexual behaviour towards the therapist will not be tolerated. SPEENO reserves the right to stop or refuse treatment where professional boundaries are breached or where continuing the appointment would be inappropriate or unsafe.

SPEENO may update this policy as its services and booking arrangements develop.
